What Is Motivation?
In essence, motivation is the internal impulse to take action. It is the feeling triggered within that compels you to do something. From brushing your teeth in the morning to following through on your lifelong goals and dreams, motivation is at the root of every action you take.
Without motivation, the progress of the world would come to a grinding stop. Nothing could improve for every individual capable of working toward change would lack the motivation to move forward with their plans.
On a more personal note, progress within your own life would be impossible without the motivation to do something about what you wanted. Your health, career, money, relationships...nothing would move forward without an internal drive.

The Three Questions You Must Answer to ensure you maintain the motivation required in this business.
If you can't answer three simple questions about your goals and dreams, chances are you'll fall short of success.
However, spend a little time discovering the right responses, and everything you want will be yours..
What Do You Want?
The first question you must answer is what you want. Not a general a fuzzy idea about something you think would be nice, but a super-specific outcome backed by an intense desire.
The way motivation works, you can't get by with a vague idea; it simply isn't enough to trigger your drive and get you moving. Instead, you need a crystal clear idea of what you want, so clear in fact, that anyone off the street would know exactly what you wanted after a short explanation of the goal.
Why Do You Want It?
The second step is to answer the question of why you want to achieve this particular goal or dream. This is the heart and soul of motivation. Without a clear and powerful set of incentives backing your idea, your internal drive will never be turned on and you'll struggle to get yourself to take action.
Think of this question as fuel for the fire. The more reasons you have to succeed, the more power and energy you'll have to make it happen. Once again, they must be as specific as possible.
How Are You Going to Get It?
When you know what you want and why you want it, the final piece of the puzzle to figure out is how you are going to get it. This is the area most often overlooked.
Most people build their excitement after finishing the first two steps and start acting without a plan. As a result, they most often end up running in circles or even farther from the target they're after. You can't simply act; you must act intelligently.
Spend time reviewing the strategies of those who have already achieved your goals. Learn which steps work and which to avoid. In this way, the action you take will be sure to lead you in the right direction.
If you can answer these three questions about each of your goals, dreams, and ambitions, you'll have what it takes to trigger and maintain the motivation you need to succeed.
